Apple Maps EV Routing Now Supports Tesla Superchargers for Ford EV’s

Ford has announced that its customers using Apple Maps EV Routing in CarPlay can now be routed to North American Charging Standard (NACS) fast charging stations.

This applies to Ford Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning customers, and the NACS fast charging network includes compatible Tesla Superchargers.

Users will be required to use an adapter that allows Ford customers to charge their cars at these charging stations.

Until now, Ford users could only be routed to CCS charging stations, as Ford vehicles feature CCS charging ports.

Moreover, users don’t need to update any software — NACS support for Apple Maps EV Routing is available on iPhones running iOS 17 or later.

To use the feature: connect your iPhone to CarPlay > open Apple Maps > go to Settings > Preferred Charging Network > select a NACS fast charging station such as Tesla Supercharger.
