Apple is known for its amazing products, which shape the future of consumer technology. In 2024, the Cupertino-based tech giant could launch several new devices, such as Apple Vision Pro, M4 iPad Pro, iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch Series 10, M4 iMac, M4 Pro Mac mini, and much more, to delight its ever-growing consumer base and challenge its competitors.
As we are stepping into 2025, several product rumors have started surfing. Based on reports from trustworthy industry insiders and leakers, I have put together a list of upcoming Apple products expected to launch in 2025.
Upcoming Apple products in 2025
Like the 2024 plans, Apple’s next roundup has started circulating. So, we have gathered all the predictions from analysts and industry-leading leakers to let you know about the upcoming Apple products to be released in 2025.
1. Redesigned iPhone SE
Most of us expected the iPhone SE 4 to launch at the September 2024 event. Unfortunately, that’s not the case! We need to wait for a new iPhone SE for another year, even after it hasn’t been updated for almost two years. Mark Gurman noted the release timeframe may be around March 2025. The Information report also reaffirmed this launch date as the mass production may kick off in October.
As per industry insiders and leakers, the iPhone SE could receive a major redesign with a flat frame this time around. Also, the thick bezels and Home Button will end their run.
The iPhone SE 4 will most likely arrive with a 6.1-inch OLED display with a notch resembling the iPhone 14 base model. This would make it the first iPhone SE to support Face ID. However, to keep costs low, the new model will only feature a single camera.
Fortunately, to make its budget offering a compelling option for consumers, Apple is said to equip the iPhone SE 4 with a USB-C port, possibly along with the new Action button, just like the flagship iPhone models. Further, it would also feature a newer chipset to support AI features along with Apple’s custom 4nm 5G modem.
2. 11th-gen iPad
The 10th generation iPad is also set for a refresh. This model may not see drastic design changes but is likely to feature improved internal specifications, including increased storage options.
Analysts predict that Apple is currently focusing on cost-effective production methods for this entry-level tablet. So, it may result in a more competitive price point while still delivering solid performance.
As of this writing, it is unclear what version of this chip the 11th-generation iPad will use. If we see the traditional releases, the A16 Bionic should be the one. However, Apple may jump to the AI bandwagon and include an A17 or A18 processor in the next iPad 11. Moreover, rumors suggest the iPad 11th generation may get Wi-Fi 6E support.
The announcement for the 11th-gen iPad is expected to coincide with the iPad mini release, likely in late 2024 or the first quarter of 2025, shared by Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
3. Mac Studio and Mac Pro
The Mac Studio, known for its powerful performance in a compact form factor, is also anticipated to receive an update. However, according to Mark Gurman’s mentioned Apple release plan, M4 Mac Studio and Mac Pro may be available in mid-to-late 2025.
Therefore, it would be a surprise gift if we saw the updated Mac Studio with the other Mac product launches in late 2024. While specific details remain scarce, the new model is expected to carry higher-end M4 chips, such as the M4 Max and Ultra chip, resulting in powerful performance.
A few insiders highlighted that Apple intends to significantly raise the maximum unified memory in high-end M4 Mac computers to 512GB. This may be due to Apple’s focus on AI development features.
4. Apple Watch Ultra 3 and SE upgraded version
Apple could unveil a slew of new Apple Watch models in 2025, including the Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Ultra 3. The Apple Watch SE is expected to feature a major design overhaul and be announced with the iPhone SE 4 in the spring event.
However, Gurman stated that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 will likely have a nominal hardware upgrade. Apple may focus more on integrating the AI features. Also, it won’t be around until September 2025 because Apple needs “more time to develop innovative health management features,” as noted by Ming-Chi Kuo.
Meanwhile, now deleted reports from Omdia suggest that the Apple Watch SE 4 could borrow the design from Apple Watch Series 9. They even say that it may get the S9 SiP and Apple Watch Series 4’s ECG feature.
Mark Gurman previously anticipated that Apple may release an Apple Watch Series X this year, which would replace the existing band attachment mechanism with a magnetic one. However, Apple did not use the term in the September launch event and unveiled the Series 10 as usual. Therefore, it’s unclear if there will be a Series X or not.
5. iPhone 17 and 17 Pro lineup
Apple has already made headlines with the launch of the iPhone 16 lineup. However, rumors of iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro models are already brewing. Various leaks hint at substantial changes in Apple’s flagship lineup, where the Plus model may be replaced with an iPhone 17 Slim or iPhone 17 Air.
As reported by Ming-Chi Kuo, the ultra-thin iPhone 17 model may have a 6.6-inch screen size with a titanium-aluminum alloy metal frame to make the device lightweight. Also, an insider from Jeff Pu captured by 9to5Mac suggests the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to feature a smaller Dynamic Island due to the proximity sensor’s metalens technology.
This may also mean the Face ID sensor will be potentially embedded under the display, as noted by Ross Young. Moreover, the iPhone 17 series is anticipated to feature LTPO displays across all models.
The iPhone 17 series is likely to be powered by the A19 chip, with the Pro models possibly featuring an A19 Pro variant. This new processor is expected to be built on a 2nm process, promising improved performance and energy efficiency. There are also rumors from HotHardwire that Apple may integrate Wi-Fi 7 support in the chip.
Additionally, MacRumors highlighted the iPhone 17 Pro Max model is expected to include a triple-camera system with three 48-megapixel lenses (wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto). On the other hand, all iPhone 17 models are anticipated to have a new 24-megapixel tetraprism front-facing camera, known from Kuo’s survey. So, the selfie qualities will be drastically enhanced in various lighting conditions.
6. Foldable iPhone/iPad
Apple’s entry into the foldable smartphone market has been a topic of speculation for years. Many recent rumors suggest that the company is working on its first foldable device. It’s unlikely that Apple will release a foldable iPhone in the next few years. Instead, Kuo clearly mentioned we’ll probably see something like a 20.3-inch MacBook in 2027.
On the contrary, Jeff Pu predicts the first Apple foldable devices may be a hybrid of iPad and Mac, arriving in late 2025. Mark Gurman also reaffirms this by writing in a report that “The company could go with a foldable 20-inch screen attached to a physical keyboard or just have one side of the display serving as a virtual keyboard. I’m told Apple has indeed been exploring a dual-screen, foldable MacBook/iPad hybrid that would take the second approach. It would trade in the physical keyboard and trackpad for a full touch-screen base,” noted 9to5Mac.
7. New HomePod with a touchscreen display
Apple first released the HomePod in February 2018, followed by the HomePod mini in November 2020. While Apple discontinued the original HomePod in March 2021, an updated version of the speaker was released in January 2023, suggesting that Apple has more plans for the smart speaker market.
Apple could finally release a HomePod with a display to compete with Google and Amazon’s existing smart home devices. According to reports from Ming-Chi Kuo, the new HomePod would feature a 7-inch display.
Not only that, earlier reports from Mark Gurman have also suggested that Apple is working on a high-end speaker with a touch screen, which could possibly combine an Apple TV set-top box with a camera for video calling.
To add fuel to the fire, code seen by 9to5Mac in tvOS 17.4 beta 3 reveals the existence of a new device capable of running tvOS. This device, identified as “Z314,” seems to be powered by an A15 Bionic chip.
The code also reveals that prototype and production versions of this device are already under test, suggesting that the new HomePod has reached an advanced stage of development. However, the probable launch date has not yet been anticipated.

Additionally, you get up to 4 USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, offering high-speed data transfers and connectivity. Available in seven vibrant colors, the M4 iMac adds a touch of elegance to your workspace.
Apple has also introduced a color-matching Magic Keyboard and mouse or trackpad with USB-C ports for a more seamless setup.
2. M4 and M4 Pro Mac mini
The Mac mini has undergone a significant redesign with M4 processors. Yes, you heard it right! The Mac mini lineup has skipped the M3 and jumped to the M4 family to integrate AI features. Moreover, the new Mac mini has the smallest form factor, at just 5 by 5 inches, so it’s perfect for users seeking a compact yet powerful desktop solution.
A revolutionary thermal architecture directs air to various levels of the system, with all venting done via the foot. So, the most demanding tasks are carried out smoothly without lag or overheating. Despite its compact design, you can choose a configuration of up to 64GB of Unified Memory and 8TB SSD.

Compact and easy to hold, the iPad mini 7 is perfect for anyone needing full-size iPad performance in a small, portable package. Available in four beautiful colors, it combines power, functionality, and style in one sleek design.
4. iPhone 16 lineup
This year’s iPhone 16 lineup has been a hit with larger ‘Pro’ models with thinnest bezels, new AI-integrated chipsets, camera upgrades, and much more. The Super Retina XDR OLED display has the latest Ceramic Shield for better protection. However, I suggest getting a iPhone 16 screen protector to avoid scratches and bumps.
The back has a color-infused glass panel in exciting new colors, such as Teal, Ultramarine, etc. To complement the colors, Apple released a new set of iPhone 16 cases including a clear MagSafe one. Moreover, the Pro models have a Desert Titanium color.
Apple has also included a new Camera Control button on iPhone 16, which will accompany the Action button introduced with 15 Pro models. The new button is located on the bottom right side of the device, allowing you to quickly launch the camera and capture photos and videos. It is also touch- and pressure-sensitive, letting you zoom in or out and adjust camera settings with a simple swipe.
The biggest change in the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models is their vertical rear camera setup to capture Spatial Videos. Also, all models got an improved 48-megapixel Fusion primary lens with better low-light performance. The iPhone 16 Pro models can capture 4K 120 fps Dolby Vision videos and tap into a cinematic experience with the Audio Mix feature.
Regarding the internals, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max feature a brand new A18 Pro chipset built on TSMC’s revamped 3nm N3E process. This new chip can run demanding machine learning tasks to power the Apple Intelligence and advanced iOS 18 features. However, the non-pro models get the A18 chipset, which also supports Apple Intelligence.
Moreover, Apple has increased the battery life with efficiency improvements to fulfill such demanding tasks. Apple also mentioned that the new lineup supports 25W fast MagSafe charging. Overall, the iPhone 16 series specs and features are truly amazing, making it a significant upgrade from the old models.

5. Apple Watch Series 10
Apple Watch Series 10 has undergone a beautiful overhaul. It has the thinnest body ever made and the biggest edge-to-edge display. The wide-angle OLED panel with 2000-nit peak brightness is 40% brighter when seen from an angle. So you can easily glance at the content.
In terms of looks, the Apple Watch Series is available in a glossy Jet Black aluminum finish. Moreover, you may get a titanium frame polished to a gleaming mirror finish. This model is over 20% lighter than the stainless steel Series 9 without compromising durability.
Talking about the features, Apple has always prioritized health features in its watch. This time, the Apple Watch Series 10 includes a new feature that detects Sleep Apnea. The water temperature and depth sensors are also included for aquatic sports addicts. You can even check the impact of your workout’s intensity on the training load.
Apple has also incorporated a few “intelligent” features like Smart Stacks. All these amazing things are made into reality thanks to the advanced S10 SiP with a 4‑core Neural Engine and 64GB capacity. And worry not; your Apple Watch will last all day as it can now charge to 80% in just half an hour.
6. AirPods 4
The new AirPods 4 redefines the audio experience with groundbreaking features and superior comfort. Powered by the advanced H2 chip, these earbuds deliver immersive sound through Personalized Spatial Audio and dynamic head tracking, allowing for a three-dimensional theater-like listening experience.
AirPods 4 has an Active Noise Cancellation feature in a new model for the first time in an open-ear design. It minimizes unwanted background noise, while Adaptive Audio seamlessly blends this feature with Transparency mode. Thus, you can stay connected to your surroundings. Moreover, the intelligent Conversation Awareness feature is one-of-a-kind, lowering the playing audio when you are talking.
The AirPods 4 are built for convenience, with up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge and a compact, wireless charging case. They also feature Voice Isolation for crystal-clear calls, making them the perfect companion for any lifestyle.
7. M2 iPad Air and M4 iPad Pro
As anticipated, Apple unveiled new iPads in May. These include a new iPad Air and iPad Pro, along with an Apple Pencil Pro and a redesigned Magic Keyboard.
The 2024 iPad Air now comes in 13-inch and 11-inch sizes. The most notable upgrade is the inclusion of the M2 chip, which offers up to 50 percent better performance than the M1 iPad Air. The iPad Air also boasts a 12MP landscape front camera with support for Centre Stage and dual landscape stereo speakers with Spatial Audio.
The base model of iPad Air now offers a generous 128GB of storage, with the 11-inch and 13-inch models priced at $599 and $799, respectively. Moreover, Apple has introduced new 512GB and 1TB options for those needing additional storage.
Apple has several new features in store for the iPad Pro. In terms of design, Apple has made the new iPad Pro significantly thinner and lighter, moving the front camera to the landscape position. Meanwhile, the rear camera module now includes a LiDAR sensor and dual-tone flash.
The improvements don’t stop here. Apple has equipped the new iPad Pro with the M4 chip, which offers a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 16-core Neural engine, and a dedicated Display engine.

9. M3 MacBook Air (13- and 15-inch)
As anticipated, Apple refreshed the 13″ and 15″ MacBook Air with the M3 versions in 2024, finally phasing out the M1 model released in 2020. While we didn’t see any new changes to the design of the entry-level Macs, the new models boast almost 20 percent and 35 percent better CPU performance than the M2 and M1 models, respectively.
The base M3 MacBook Air, just like last year’s model, offers an 8-core CPU and GPU, 8GB of Unified Memory, and 256GB of storage. However, you can still configure the machines with a 10-core GPU, up to 2TB of storage, and 24 GB of unified memory.
While the battery life is still rated the same as last year, the new models now support up to two external displays and come with Wi-Fi 6E, which offers download speeds up to twice as fast as the previous generation. Apple has also introduced a new Anodization seal for the Midnight finish, which will help reduce smudges and fingerprints.
10. Apple Vision Pro
Apple has gone completely overboard with its first mixed-reality headset. It offers an ultra-premium design with equally high-end specs, including an array of 12 cameras and 5 sensors, which feed their data to the M2 and R1 chipsets to create spatial experiences with its two high-resolution displays.
As for its software and user interface, the Apple Vision Pro runs on a brand-new spatial operating system dubbed visionOS. It offers a truly remarkable gesture and voice-based user interface, which is further enhanced by the headset’s eye-tracking sensors that can detect real-time eye movement and facilitate a new authentication system like Optic ID.
Apple Vision Pro became available in February with a starting price of $3499. However, if you want to know more about the headset’s hardware and innovative features, check out our detailed article on Apple Vision Pro.
